Windows 10 Automatic Updates නවත්වන හැටි

Mobile / Cellular Connection එකක දී එය Windows 10 විසින් Metered Connection එකක් ලෙස ගෙන Updates Automatically Download නොකරයි.

Wi-Fi Connection එකක දී එය පහත පරිදි Metered Connection එකක් බවට පත් කළ හැකි ය. 

Settings ======> Network & Internet, Wi-Fi ======> Advanced options ======> list of Wi-Fi networks. Enable the Set as metered connection. (මෙය තෝරා ගත් Wi-Fi Connection එක සඳහා පමණක් අදාළ වේ. එක් එක් Connection එක සඳහා වෙන වෙන ම මෙය සකස් කළ යුතු ය.)

Ethernet Connection එක Metered Connection එකක් බවට පත් කිරීම සඳහා Windows Registry Edit කළ යුතු ය. 

i. ඒ සඳහා Win+R Press කර Run Command එක ලබා ගෙන එහි regedit ලෙස Type කර Enter Press කරන්න. (නැතහොත් Search Box එකෙහි regedit ලෙස Search කරන්න.)

ii. ඉන් පසු එහි පහත දැක්වෙන Key එක වෙත යන්න.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\DefaultMediaCost

iii. පළමුව DefaultMediaCost Key එකෙහි Owner Change කිරීම සඳහා ඒ මත Right Click කර Permissions වෙත යන්න. එහි Security tab එකෙහි Advanced Click කරන්න. එහි ඉහළ ම ඇති Change යන්න Click කර පහළ ඇති Advanced Click කරන්න. ඉන් පසු Enter the object name to select හි Administrators ලෙස Type කර Check Names යන්න මගින් verify කර ගන්න. OK Press කරන්න. Replace owner of subcontainers and objects යන්නෙහි Tick එක ඇතුළත් කර OK කරන්න. iv. දෙවනුව DefaultMediaCost Key එකෙහි Permissions Set කිරීම සඳහා ඒ මත Right Click කර Permissions වෙත යන්න. එහි Security tab එකෙහි Edit Click කරන්න. එහි Left Pane එකෙහි Full Control සඳහා Allow හි Tick එක ඇතුළත් කර OK කරන්න. (වැඩි දුර තොරතුරු සඳහා http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2815-permissions-allow-deny-access-users-groups-windows-8-a.html#option2 වෙත පිවිසෙන්න.)

v. ඉන් පසු Metered Connection එකක් බවට පත් කිරීම සඳහා Ethernet DWORD value එක 2 බවට පත් කරන්න.

4. Windows 10 Professional Editions එකෙහි Group Policy Editor එක මගින් ද Automatically Updates Download වීම වැළැක්විය හැකි ය. 

i. ඒ සඳහා Win+R Press කර Run Command එක ලබා ගෙන එහි gpedit.msc ලෙස Type කර Enter Press කරන්න. (නැතහොත් Search Box එකෙහි gpedit ලෙස Search කරන්න.)

ii. ඉන් පසු Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update වෙත යන්න.

iii. එහි Configure Automatic Updates වෙත ගොස් එය Double Click කරන්න. එහි ඇති Enabled Select කර කැමති Settings එකක් Select කර OK Press කරන්න.
